My Heart Rejoices in the Lord
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. Psalm 33:16-22 (KJV)
The Morning Exhortation
Get after all the good that God has placed in your heart to do. Don’t quit just because things are hard. The foundation for all success is a willingness to suffer awkwardness in the beginning, and endure hardship to the very end. Keep moving forward in faith. When things become overwhelming, take a knee and lift your heart up to God. Unload your burden on the Lord and He will restore your soul. Be still and abide in the Vine. He has said we ARE branches. Only believe the gospel. May God open our eyes to see, understand, and know the truth of His word. Be bold. Stand firm in faith to claim the victory. (Ecclesiastes 7:8; Psalm 78:5-9,37,41; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; Romans 8:26-32; Proverbs 28:1; 2 Timothy 1:7; Mark 11:22-24, 4:26-29; Proverbs 16:3; Psalm 23:3; Isaiah 26:3; Matthew 11:25-30; John 15:1-11; Psalm 46:10; Mark 13:31-37; 1 Peter 5:6-11)
Ponder this:
What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?
