Forever True
6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. 7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. 8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. 11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Psalm 33:6-11 (KJV)
Morning Exhortation
Elevate your mind and your whole body, soul, and spirit will follow. When you start to doubt, get frustrated, feel blue, or think negative, just whisper to yourself the word — “ELAVATE.” Weak thoughts don’t build strong bodies. Neither does entertaining faithless thoughts enable us to abide in Christ Jesus and bear the fruits of the Spirit. You cannot stop the birds from swooping down to steal your sacrifice of praise, but you can chase them away. Elevate your mind and your spirit and your body will follow. The beginning of the assurance of faith is a matter of fact type of knowing God just the same as you know any other person. We come to know those we are close to by how they talk, how they walk, how they think, what they do, and what they are likely not to do. God has given us the Holy Bible so that we may come to the same kind of personal knowledge of Him. The Old Testament Law and the Prophets were the beginning of the progressive revelation of who God is, and the full revelation of what God is like is revealed in Jesus Christ. Christ is revealed to us in the four gospels. To know Christ is to know God. To know God is to love Him. Let us elevate. He who promised that we will find Him when we seek Him with our whole heart is faithful and true.

The Prayer Appointed for This Week from the Book of Common Prayer
Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant me so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that I may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
